Revolution Air Serves Kentucky Derby Participants

Charter company Revolution Air provides private air transportation solutions for exclusive clientele including Kentucky Derby owners, trainers, riders and support staff

New York City, NY (May 13, 2008) – Revolution Air, a charter company providing private jet charter services and travel solutions, announces its participation in the Kentucky Derby as the transportation provider of choice for many thoroughbred racing teams and their associates.

Revolution Air has been providing travel solutions for the thoroughbred industry for many years. Its relationship with key industry members, including hall of fame trainer Claude R. “Shug” McGaughey, has provided critical insight to the needs of thoroughbred clients’ needs and ensured referrals throughout the industry. For the May 3, 20008, Kentucky Derby, Revolution Air provided transportation solutions to service management members and racing teams for at least four different horses participating in the race.

Many in the thoroughbred industry choose Revolution Air because they arrange all areas of private travel and transportation including air travel plus ground transportation for their time in the area. This allows the owners and other high-profile associates to come and go in anonymity. Revolution Air also ensures its clients can get to their locations on short notice. Through Revolution Air, jockeys for some of the top Kentucky Derby finishers were able to fly in, exercise their horses prior to the race, and then return to their home locations, all within just a few hours.

Revolution Air works diligently to accommodate a client’s location and schedule. For instance, a recent Kentucky Derby flight included loading 86 team support members on three charter aircraft in 15 minutes. To ensure the luggage made the flights successfully, Revolution Air brought in members of local high school football teams to help load the aircraft.

To ensure the entire flight runs smoothly, Revolution Air’s service team follows every portion of travel, including communication between the aircraft and ground crews. “High-profile individuals rely on Revolution Air to provide air travel and transportation that is fast, efficient, and under the public radar,” said Ron Goldstein, President of Revolution Air. “Clients know when they book charter with Revolution Air, their trip and all associated details will be handled confidentially and discreetly.”

Revolution Air’s heightened level of personal service and experience are in high demand from clients in various industries, including corporate business travel. “No matter if we’re providing solutions for high-profile individuals or corporate business travel, we treat every client with the utmost respect and privacy,” said Joy Eller, Chief Operating Officer for Revolution Air. “Our one-on-one services ensure that every personal request for comfort and convenience will be met, and our clients can arrive at their destinations stress-free knowing everything has been taken care of.”

Revolution Air provides in-flight concierge services that adds a personal touch to private air charter travel and offers in-flight amenities that are tailored specifically for its clients. Client preferences and pertinent information are securely documented for reference on future flights.

Summer Travels by Jet

People are utilizing the ease, convenience and luxury of private jet charter, not just for business needs but for family travel fun. An article in the NY Post last summer showed how even some young kids are affluent enough to get sent off to summer camp in a Falcon or Hawker aircraft. So what does the summer hold for you? The possibilities are endless.

In mid-July you could head from New York City (TB, HPN, EWR, LGA) to London, England in a Heavy Jet with 5-7 of your closest friends and family for a few days of cheer. Visiting the historical sites of this city, participating in the bustling pub scene and having a chat with the locals are all great memories to be made.

Next stop could be the San Fermin Festival in Pamplona, Spain. Like most people, you have heard of this event but never thought of participating yourself. Why not? You only live once. This festival is known worldwide as "the running of the bulls", but what most people dont know is that it is a week long festival, of which the bull running is just one part. The week-long celebration involves many other traditional and folk events and is held in honor of the patron saint of Pamplona. Again, day time cultural sites and night time parties last all week long, with the masses all dressed in the traditional attire of white clothes and a red sash around the waist. By the end of the week most peoples clothes are stained with the local drink of sangria that flows freely through the streets. A truly amazing experience, in which the whole week need not be attended.

Next, off to Paris, France (LFPB) for the July 14th celebration of the French National Holiday. It is seen as a symbol of the uprising of the modern French nation and could be likened to the USA Independence Day. Thousands of people gather around the Eiffel tower and Paris at large. A big parade is held in the morning time and fireworks and parties go until the wee hours of the night. A fun, enriching cultural festival to be attended at least once in a lifetime.

While traveling the world is always fun,it can be a tiring and complicated experience. Going from airport to airport, waiting in lines and handling luggage are not part of the plans when you travel in style. It is a most pleasurable experience to be pampered with your plans being the only ones catered to. This is the beauty of executive travel in private jets.

With personalized jet charter, the world is yours and the possibilities are endless. Plan your summer travels with Revolution Air.

Revolution Air and the Kentucky Derby

Behind the scenes Revolution Air makes the Kentucky derby go round the track. This Saturday Revolution Air played one of the biggest roles any company could play, they flew the winner to the track on a private jet. IEAH stables and 86 members of the supporting staff of Big Brown (the Kentucky Derby winner) all flew on private jets provided by Revolution Air. In fact Revolution Air has been very busy this Kentucky Derby season. Providing private aircraft for the top 20 earners, all the top trainers and all of the out of town jockeys in the circuit. One of the most instrumental aviation services that Revolution Air provided was getting jockey's on the horse before the Derby for exercise.

Imagine this:

1. 5 am
Revolution Air flys one of the top jockeys, we will not say which one, superstitious jockeys ;) out of New York, Terterboro airport.

2. 7 am
He gets to his horse, exercises his horse, helping his horse get accustomed to the track and the rider.

3. 11am
Jockey flys out of Lousiville, Kentucky's Standiford Field private airport located just minutes away from the track.

4. 1 pm
Jockey is back just in time for lunch.

Next blog... A peculiar FBO situation. How do you get 86 people on three charter aircraft in 15 minutes? We invite you to find out.
